Tashkent

Welcome to Tashkent – a city with a rich history and many amazing sights! You will see the monument dedicated to the great tragedy. You will visit the religious center where the Koran of the 7th century is kept. Appreciate the beauty of the local metro and find out where the palace of a Russian prince is hidden. And if you wish, visit important museums.

What to expect:

Courage Monument

Our tour will start from the European part of the city, where you will see one of the main sights – the monument “Courage”. We will tell you what tragic event this monument is dedicated to.

The Muslim part of the city

One-storey houses have been preserved here and people live as a big friendly family. You will visit the main religious center of Tashkent Hazrati Imam, which consists of Barakkhan Madrasah, Kafal-Al-Shashi Mausoleum and the library of Islamic literature with the book of Quran of the 7th century. You will also visit the largest and oldest market Chorsu, which is known since the times of the Silk Road.

Tashkent subway and Independence Square
Returning to the European part, we will suggest taking a trip on the metro. It impresses with its beauty – these are not just stations and underground tunnels, but palaces underground.

Then you will find yourself on one of the largest squares of the former Soviet Union – Independence Square. This is the main square of Uzbekistan, where you can feel the spirit of our culture and history.

Palace of Prince Nikolai Romanov
Just a 2-minute walk from the square is an atypical monument of Tashkent – the palace of Grand Duke Nikolai Konstantinovich Romanov, grandson of Nicholas 1. You will learn who and why exiled the prince here, on the outskirts of the empire – in the Turkestan region.

Amir Timur Square
We will walk to the heart of the city, where the main boulevards diverge in all directions. You will visit Amir Timur Square and admire the monument in his honor. You will see the buildings surrounding the park – Hotel “Uzbekistan”, the Palace of Forums, former buildings of men’s and women’s gymnasiums of the 19th century.

If you wish, you can also visit museums – Museum of Arts of Uzbekistan, Museum of Applied Arts of Uzbekistan, Museum of Temurid History and Museum of Quran Osman.

I have always loved traveling along unexplored routes. This time my choice fell on Bukhara. For a long time I doubted which company to cooperate with, but reviews on the Internet convinced me to contact SEE TOUR. And I was not mistaken! From the very beginning of the trip I was surrounded with care and attention.
