Arrival in Samarkand.

Start of Samarkand tour.
Great Samarkand is one of the ancient cities of the world, its age is 2750 years. Samarkand is located in the picturesque valley of the Zarafshan River, surrounded by the Pamir-Alai Mountains. Amir Temur made Samarkand the capital of his large empire.
Points of visit:
- Guri-Emir Mausoleum (14th century), the place where Amir Temur’s ashes are buried.
- Registan Square: Ulugbek Madrassah (1417-1420), Sherdor Madrassah (1619-1636), Tilla Qari Madrassah (1647-1660).

- Bibi-khanum Mosque – the mosque of Amir Timur’s spouse
- Shoh-i-Zinda Ensemble

Day 2. Samarkand – Bukhara |
Breakfast at the hotel.
Transfer to the train station.
Train departure to Bukhara.
Arrival in Bukhara.
Lunch according to the guests’ wish.

One of the oldest cities in the world is the fabulous Bukhara. Bukhara has many names. The word “Bukhara” is consonant with the Sanskrit word “Vihara” – “monastery”, also with the Chinese word “Bihar” – place of idols.It is said that the founder of Bukhara was the son of the Iranian king Siyavush. Having married the daughter of the king Afrosiab, he built here the fortress of Ark, and erected a huge city, which to this day has not lost all its beauty and majesty.

- House of Faizulla Khodjaev.
Return to Bukhara.
